Welcome to our 3rd grade page! Let me take a minute to introduce myself, my name is Mrs. Sirmon. I am a 3rd grade teacher here at W.E. Striplin Elementary. I am so excited to have you in my class this year.

Academically we have a big year in third grade. By the end of third grade your child should be reading 123 words per minute fluently without any mistakes. Your child should know their multiplication facts 0-12, by the end of the school year.  We have homework every night except Friday nights. The homework that is required nightly helps your child reach their yearly reading and math goals. Please make sure that homework is completed.
